TitanHQ are seeking to hire a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support for our products and to maintain the high-level of customer satisfaction expected for our award-winning virtual appliance gateways SpamTitan, ArcTitan and WebTitan.

TitanHQ is located in Galway supporting thousands of customers worldwide with innovative virtual appliance solutions. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding dynamic Internet company with a global customer base and impressive year on year revenue growth.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


The successful candidate will:

  • Be fanatical about providing excellent customer support
  • Have a good understanding of TCP/IP and protocols, specifically SMTP, DNS and HTTP/S
  • Be able to conduct research into technical issues and other products
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Be able to document procedures and processes to create knowledge-base articles
  • Be able to relocate or commute to Galway


Knowledge of the following will be a distinct advantage:

  • Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Xen, etc)
  • Cloud computing (AWS)
  • Linux/UNIX operating systems (Ubuntu/FreeBSD)
  • Cisco IOS (WCCP)
