The Challenge

HBC Inc., provide internet, cable and telephone services to 11,000 residential users and 2,000 business users in south east Minnesota.
HBC needed to deploy an easy to manage email security solution to protect customers from spam.
Initially, HBC relied on Postini for spam filtering but found this solution to be unsatisfactory. "With Postini we could only filter incoming email," said James Brown, a network analyst with HBC.
